This is a wide-open affair, and so a tentative vote is given to Screen Test, with Remaal and Lay A Whisper put forward as the main rivals. The selection had shown plenty of ability on the all-weather before putting in a much-improved performance on her first run on the turf. She travelled well in the early stages and was just found wanting in the last couple of furlongs. The combination of a shorter trip and forcing tactics from Dazzler Holland could get her home first today. Remaal should also be suited by this drop in trip after being a well-beaten second on her handicap debut over a mile and a half at Pontefract. Lay A Whisper is one that is progressing nicely. She improved to finish a close-up third behind subsequent Goodwood winner Strawberry Leaf at Haydock last time and could represent each-way value. Dance Partner landed a Lingfield maiden last time and looks the pick of the remainder. However, this trip looks ideal for Screen Test who just edges the decision.
