German raider Saitensohn won here over two furlongs shorter on his British debut and clearly holds chances again. Diamond Monroe is winning point-to-pointer owned by the Newbury Racehorse Owners' Group. He has place prospects. Flexible Concience hinted at ability last season. Jongleur Collonges ran well on his hurdling debut (winner has won since). He's a chaser in the making but also has place prospects. Jonjo O'Neill's French import Killer is hard to assess and the market might prove the best guide. Master Trix gained a facile win at Folkestone in a CJ event, is bound to improve for that and the step up in trip will suit. Slooghy has had his problems but showed ability in France and is said to be in good form at home. Wartorn has a lot to find with Saitensohn on their Newbury runs. Whispering John was second to the well regarded Robber Baron at Exeter on his hurdling bow and can only improve although, with Irish point-to-point experience behind him, his future too lies over the larger obstacles. The TEAMtalk vote goes to Master Trix as he is unpenalised for that Folkestone win.
