Mighty Strong is not one to trust with your life, but he could be capable of taking this prize, from Latitude and The Extra Man. Nicky Henderson's ten-year-old had dropped to a decent mark following some lack lustre efforts and put in a tremendous performance to chase home Mark Equal last time. If he can show the same commitment today he will be very difficult to beat. Latitude is a stable companion of Mark Equal and after landing two back end novice chases last season, returned with an excellent third in a Grade two event at Windsor. This represents a drop in class and he must take a hand in the finish. The Extra Man disappointed over a shorter trip at Huntingdon last time, but will be more at home over this extra distance and on this tougher track. Halexy and Bee An Bee represent top yards so must warrant respect, but Mighty Strong looks the pick of the weights and just edges the decision.
