In depth

Verdict

Several of these have upwardly mobile profiles but none more so than CONDUCT, who rates nap material on the card. Sir Michael Stoute's charge is the first foal of a dam who won over two miles so the step up to this trip on ground with cut will surely help him to improve on an already impressive debut success. He came from a long way back at Sandown to win going away and an opening mark of 85 shouldn't stop him winning races, hopefully starting here. Hear The Roar was eased when his chance had gone at Yarmouth but ran well enough on soft ground while Valiant Knight need only improve a little to better a run of seconds and first-time cheek-pieces may enable him to do that. Fanditha has plenty in his favour for a combination in form and again looks up to winning off this rating while Cosimo De Medici can only improve for his return from a break and should like the ground, so along with Laudatory and Clockmaker helps make this a cracker.
