In depth

Verdict

Native Picture is open to improvement and can win a race off this mark but softening conditions cost her at Warwick and a repeat is likely here, whilst Coconut Ice showed improved form last time but again has questions to answer under these conditions. With that in mind preference is for SADAFIYA, up 6lbs for beating Millyluvstobouggie at Lingfield. The latter is much better off at the weights and should be fine on the ground but she rather got first run on Sadafiya, who is less exposed and open to improvement. As a speedily bred daughter of Oasis Dream everything looks in place for a big run and she's up to defying the handicapper. Watts Up Son improved for ease in the ground when winning at Newcastle but the handicapper has clobbered him and this is tougher, so best of the rest may be Dress Up whose latest run has been advertised since by the winner.
