Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

PARLESOTHO looked ahead of the handicapper when dotting up at Leicester; he gets the vote to follow up under a penalty at the main expense of perennial runner up Cavallini and Benmore Boy. The last-named could be interesting as the stable are starting to hit a run of form. He raced a bit keenly when well-held last time but his earlier Novice form looks solid. However we prefer Parlesotho. Alan King's ex-French gelding has a 7lb penalty for a romp at Leicester and seeing as that only takes him up to 107, he is officially 6lb well in on his future handicap mark. Cootehill ran his best race to date last time out at Hereford when he was quite well-backed, whilst Karasakal and Cavallini give Gary Moore a strong hand but each is more likely to gain place prize money rather than winning. At a price Maree Hall could go well after a long absence, however it is Parlesotho who can win again.
