Galactic Star, Regime and Kirklees are the three against the field here with preference for Galactic Star. With the Godolphin team in fine form, Kirklees must be respected having won twice this season, his latest win coming in Listed class. However, he has been found wanting in the past when upped to this class in this country and is opposed. Regime took the Group Three Derby trial in the spring but has not won since. He has run a good race in defeat in a Group Two contest and is clearly useful. However, he was made favourite to land a similar contest to this last time and looked one paced and is taken on. Since being upped to a mile and a half Galactic Star is unbeaten, achieving a career best performance in a Listed contest last time. He is a game customer, working hard and showing tenacity in the closing stages. This seems a natural progression and in his current vein of form Galactic Star is hard to oppose and can win his fourth race of the season.
