Verdict

Craster improved stepped up to 1m2f on fast ground at Bath last time but Good Birthday makes more appeal on his recent second over today’s trip at Wolverhampton. CURRENT OPTION never threatened the winner over 7f at Kempton on his introduction but a strong finish suggested this extra distance will suit and he gets the nod to open his account. Roger Charlton won a division of this with a newcomer last year and Qarasu is a half-brother to a Listed winner while Sezim is related to four winners and another to keep an eye on. High Commissioner and State Of Affair represent the same owner with Jim Crowley partnering the former.
