This can go to Kausse de Thaix, with Ladalko, Shalako, Ashgreen and Bee An Bee all likely to play a part in proceedings. Kausse de Thaix is definitely on the upgrade, having overcome a mere four-pound rise when making all at Windsor recently, and another hike of that size is unlikely to stop him making a bold bid, given that he due to up eight-pounds shortly. Seen as a future Grand National candidate, he is taken to make all here. Ladalko is rated a stone lower over fences than hurdles, and should appreciate this longer trip and more galloping track than he encountered when third at Stratford last time. Shalako is a bit more exposed, and although his experience will come in handy, he appears beatable. Ashgreen goes well for an amateur and has the assistance of Nina Carberry, but he will start to struggle off his revised rating soon, while Bee An Bee is another that will pay the penalty this term for his level of consistency in the past. The Tall Guy will be a bit fitter after his distant third at Aintree but is best watched along with Cinnamon Line on this, his return to the fray. With fitness assured, Kausse de Thaix is taken to make all.
