Verdict

Dueling Banjos has never won beyond 2m5f and just held on at Ffos Las at the start of the month. Dig Deeper, on the other hand, looks a stout stayer but he doesn’t have much in the way of pace. Wild West Wind was soon brushed aside off today’s mark at Exeter but Sykes is probably still on a decent mark and it was through no fault of his own when he fell last time at Taunton. VINNIE RED beat a subsequent winner at Market Rasen on his chasing bow and lost a shoe when a beaten favourite here last month. He can recoup losses as Taunton winner Bells Of Ailsworth and Chic Name are both carrying more than their allotted weight.
