John Gosden's Zanazzi lost no caste in defeat behind Lily Again on her debut at Kempton earlier this month and she is bound to be popular with backers following that effort now making her turf debut but the better form has arguably been shown by CAPE DOLLAR, who gets the vote with Sahafh rated the pick of the remainder. The selection is trained by Sir Michael Stoute and ran a pleasing first race at Newmarket last month when a close up third behind Al Sharood in what looked a decent maiden, running on well late in the race and he should improve for that effort. There are some interesting newcomers in the field including Richard Hannon's Pivotal filly Celebrity, who is likely to want softer ground, stable companion Humdrum and Mick Channon's Majestic Dubawi. Any of these could easily be good enough to win first time out but of more interest is Saeed Bin Suroor's Sahafh, especially now that the yard is amongst the winners. Cape Dollar sets a decent standard though and he looks the one to beat.
