The Ducking Stool won this last year and has to come into the reckoning now back on the same mark. She’s also better off this time round with last year’s third and fourth-placed horses Medburn Cutler and The New Pharaoh given both have been winning this season. But the bumper winner LONDON PRIZE (NAP) is less exposed and went close over today’s trip on the Flat at Haydock a week ago. Ian Williams’ charge gets the nod racing off the same mark today. Miss Tiger Lily has been in good form over shorter distances of late and has won over 2m in the past while Snowy Dawn was placed at Newcastle recently but hasn’t won since 2014. Northern Meeting won over hurdles in July and wasn't beaten far in this code when fourth at Kempton last month while Kissy Suzuki has tumbled down the weights and attempts this longer trip for the first time.
