In the nursery, Magic Echo is the choice ahead of Bed Fellow and Golan Way. Magic Echo who won well on his Newcastle debut, is an interesting contender here. Much as it is difficult to evaluate his debut, winning performance, he left a good impression and his trainer does not have too many runners at this track. He will surely ensure a good test of stamina over today's trip, and can go well. Spiderback, who was wearing blinkers for the first time, was two necks behind Bed Fellow at Windsor last time and is now two pounds better off, but maybe the form, which is pretty solid, will be confirmed. Massenzio seemed to show some improvement at Newmarket last time and, if a first-time visor helps, his mark could yet prove to be fair. Up in trip and racing on going with give in it, Golan Way ran well at Lingfield last time from a modest draw, so he is respected. Opera Crown was disappointing at Newmarket last time but had looked to be on the up at Bath the time before, so might go well, and Celtic Step was another to benefit from headgear when winning at Catterick last time and he too looks set to play his part today. Finally, blinkers will need to elicit improvement from Prince Of Charm if he is to feature today and, once again, the selection is Magic Echo.
