Verdict

Nothing makes strong appeal in a complex contest but if CADEAUX BOXER can repeat a much better effort here the last day over course and distance, he should be in the shake-up at the very least. That represented a major improvement on his first run following a gelding operation. He ran well on soft last term and remains on a decent mark. Dance Teacher and Harry Beau have failed to build on decent efforts on recent starts but could still find necessary progress to contend off attractive marks, whilst Bounty Pursuit ran well on his first start for Michael Blake when going down narrowly at Chepstow. That run brings him into the equation along with Sheikspear, who looked progressive at a modest level when scoring at Chepstow on second start for Ed de Giles. The three-year-old should have more to come after just five outings and rates the prime danger with the move to a seventh furlong expected to suit.
