settled close last, effort on outside 3f out, chased leading pair over 2f out, one pace and no impression final furlong
dwelt, pulled hard early and soon tracked leader, led inside final 4f, hard driven final furlong, stayed on gamely
set steady pace, headed inside final 4f, stayed chasing winner to over 2f out, weakened quickly
led to post and mounted at start, pulled hard early and settled 3rd, pushed along 3f out, stayed on to chase winner over 2f out, driven and stayed on final furlong, but always just held
Hazeymm has plenty in hand on official BHB ratings and is hard to oppose in a race where he faces only three rivals with Criminal Act chosen over Luberon for the forecast spot. The selection was highly tried but not disgraced in Group 1 company on only his second start last term and justified his trainer's faith in him when opening his account when landing his maiden at Newbury subsequently. A reproduction of either of those efforts should suffice. Italian raider Rumsfeld is hard to evaluate from a form perspective and a bigger threat is likely to come from Criminal Act, who is probably better than he showed in a Group 3 race at Salisbury when last seen and hails from a yard in form. The same cannot be said of Luberon, who is trained by Mark Johnston but Hazeymm has an obvious chance and is impossible to oppose with any confidence.
