Qadar has had plenty of action on the sand this winter and has to be respected but he is hardly well treated on his return to turf and preference is for Corridor Creeper, who gets the vote ahead of If Paradise. The last mentioned made a promising return at Nottingham last week and has to be respected on that evidence. Top weight Nota Bene would have claims if fit enough but David Elsworth's horses have yet to hit top form so he may be best watched, while Fyodor has been much improved on the sand during the winter but has yet to prove that he is as effective on turf. The Lord ran as well as could have been expected at Nottingham but could probably do with some help from the handicapper, while Orientor normally needs a run or two to put him spot on. Cape Royal cannot be discounted with Milton Bradley's team having started off the season in good form but more solid claims are held by stablemate Corridor Creeper, who ended last season in decent form and is taken to make a winning return under conditions that should suit ideally.
