Western Adventure was doing all of his best work late on when a promising debut second at Leicester in September and should do better over this longer trip judged by that effort but Tempelstern sets a decent standard and gets the vote with Philatelist rated the best of the rest. The selection has plenty of stamina in his pedigree and has the best form on offer so he is hard to oppose in a race that should not take much winning. Make Haste was well held behind the potentially useful Go On Be A Tiger on his debut here and may do better stepped up to a more suitable trip today, while Mowadeh has plenty of stamina influences in his pedigree but may want even further. A market move for the Michael Jarvis-trained Philatelist would be of interest but Tempelstern has solid claims and is preferred.
