Verdict

Mujid, a wide-margin winner at Ffos Las last August, is receiving weight all round but is the senior runner in this. Talap has only gone up a pound for winning at Windsor but this looks a lot more competitive. Masqool has won two of his last three and the handicapper has given a chance to Spring Glow, though she lacks a recent run. Her new stablemate BUNKER BAY has been edging up the weights without winning but nobody could begrudge the Australia gelding a first success after a string of near-misses. Last month’s Windsor winner Warhol is a danger and a case could also be made for Typical Woman after a pipe-opener.
