Defying Orders ran well at Nottingham on her debut while Lieutenant Rascal showed early pace at Thirsk and Midnight Lir would have finished closer at Ripon with a better start. Jungle Mate is related to a 5f winner and may prove best of the newcomers ahead of Muqtahem and Rich Glory.
