An intriguing Listed contest here for the juveniles and Latin Lad is taken to defeat Ellmau, with Flight Plan and Yahrab among others of interest. Latin Lad took an above average Goodwood maiden on debut with similar underfoot conditions. He looks certain to come on for that run, where he had some useful opponents behind him and he is taken to score. Ellmau has more experience and will meet nothing of the quality of Rio De La Plata here. A sound surface suits and this looks more his level so he is respected. Flight Plan was resolute in winning on debut at Folkestone and will find this a bit tougher, while Windsor scorer Sharp Nephew should appreciate the step up in trip and can go close. Yahrab is a danger based on further improvement being anticipated following a c&d success last time, while Better Hand was victorious at Sandown when his pilot reckoned he might be better over further than this. It would be no surprise if he came home in front, but in a wide open contest our suggestion is Latin Lad.
