Verdict
Richard Hughes has been on board Pether's Moon for four of his six victories. The five-year-old had Don't Stare behind when landing last year's Cumberland Lodge but the champion jockey prefers Windshear in this. The latter made a winning reappearance at Doncaster but has more than two lengths to find with last month's Kempton winner ROMSDAL (NAP) on their run together in last year's St Leger at Doncaster. Third in last year's Epsom Derby, there are more good races to be won with John Gosden's colt this season and he also holds Red Galileo and Scotland on the form book. Arab Spring was behind Pether's Moon in a Group 2 at Newmarket last July and hasn't been seen since while Aussie Reigns doesn't look good enough.
