BEENELONG has shown enough so far to make him the pick here; Arabian Flame and Broad Cairn are also entitled to get involved at the finish. Ralph Beckett's 3-year-old has not done a lot wrong so far and he was the subject of strong market support when he finished third behind Son Of The Cat at Goodwood when last seen out. He clearly has plenty of ability and if he has wintered well he should be difficult to beat over this longer trip which should suit. Arabian Flame ran well on his debut but failed to build on that when third behind Awinnersgame back in August. He had some useful sorts in front of him that day, but it will be interesting to see if he take a step in the right direction here. Broad Cairn ran a big race here on his debut behind Whispering Angel, but the draw is far from ideal today and that might just find him out. John Gosden's newcomer Clockmaker should be closely monitored in the market, but for the winner we will return to Beenelong.
