Yet another competitive handicap to end proceedings. Spanish Star and Marshal Dan are both consistent and two of four previous course and distance winners in the line-up. Lyndon B ran well in a higher grade at Goodwood three weeks ago, along with Ascot Adventure, after beating a big field earlier on that track. Top Secret was just beaten off a 6lb higher mark here in the spring and Secret Strength has been knocking on the door in lesser company. MICKS DREAM was slowly away and met trouble in-running when runner-up to the odds-on Nizaaka at Newmarket last time. An easy winner earlier on the July course, he’s come on in leaps and bounds and Harry Burns’ claim is a plus in a race like this. The handicapper has taken no chances with Diamond Ranger and Unspoken might need this but King Of Jungle is a contender.
