Some interesting newcomers line up here including Awaaser and Princess Links but Newsround sets a decent standard and should be tough to beat. The selection made a highly encouraging debut when a two-length second behind Sir Michael Stoute's Echelon, the pair five lengths clear in a Newmarket maiden last month. With improvement anticipated, the son of Cadeaux Genereux looks the one they have to beat. The Barry Hills-trained Ask For Rain is probably better than he showed at Salisbury first time out, while stablemate Oranmore Castle makes plenty of appeal on pedigree being a half-sister by Giant's Causeway to Desert Ease. The remainder of those to have raced make limited appeal and of more interest may be one of the other newcomers. Richard Hannon's Princess Links is a daughter of Bahamian Bounty, while Marcus Tregoning's Awaaser is out of a half-sister to Marilette. However, Newsround looked a winner in the making at Newmarket and is taken to go one better here.
