This may not be as competitive as the size of the field would imply with few coming in to the race in top form. A notable exception is Siena Star who followed up an all-weather success with a fine effort at Folkestone when possibly given too much to do. The extra furlong will be in his favour and he still looks well treated on his old form. Pairing has been well placed on the all-weather but has struggled back on turf but Kew Green is lightly raced and may do better at this longer trip after finishing in mid-division on his handicap bow at Ascot over a mile. Cut Rate has been kept busy but is holding his form well as he showed in the same Ascot race last time while Zonergem should be sharper for his return and is another to consider.
