In depth

Verdict

ALLOW DALLOW (NAP) jumped well and was always travelling strongly when making a winning start over fences at Huntingdon. The handicapper put him up 9lb for that but it was probably deserved and he's just preferred to Leicester winner Exmoor Mist, who had to work a bit harder and is 7lb higher. Tresor De Bontee was second off this mark at Wetherby just over a year ago but has been largely disappointing since and lacks the scope of some of the others. Val D'arc still hasn't won since arriving from France but Mr Burbidge has a chance of reversing Chepstow running with Exmoor Mist at the revised weights.
