    Verdict

Form on soft is in short supply but there was cut in the ground when SARDINIA SUNSET won a Listed contest over the minimum trip at York with Country Carnival back in third. The latter has since been beaten a neck by Miss Jingles at Goodwood so the form looks solid and Roger Varian’s filly gets the vote having braced too freely last time. Caroline Dale edges this at the weights and drops back to 5f on the back of a third in the Princess Margaret at Ascot but York winner Amor de Mi Vida has plenty to find on these terms as does the unbeaten Blackberry, Fairy Dust and Zoetic.
