Confide went close at York on his handicap debut but is an unknown on this softer ground and RISK TAKER is preferred. He returned a wide-margin winner on soft going over 7f at Haydock and this extra furlong should be within his compass. Aweedram finished ahead of Barossa Red when runner-up at the same Haydock fixture and should go well while Lapidary also raced at Haydock earlier last month when second over 7f. Wilfy scored over the latter trip at Sandown and Turntable has been winning on fast going while a tongue-tie is applied to Give It Some Teddy, who has a shout on last year’s winning form.
