Richard Hannon has a strong hand in this listed contest and out of his pair of entries preference is for CAPE TO RIO ahead of Godolphin's Al Aasifh and the only filly in the line-up Emma's Gift. The pick followed a taking maiden win with victory in a warm looking conditions race at Windsor and although he could only finish third of sixth when pitched in at this level las time he looks progressive and sets the standard. Al Aasifh followed progressive form in a couple of maidens by not being beaten far in the Group Two Norfolk stakes at Ascot last and that give him a clear chance likewise Emma's Gift's performance when not held that far by Memory in the Albany put her in the picture. Bacheli is the other Hannon horse in the line-up who ran well to score in a Novice stakes last time but he will have to improve while Sir Redinald has shown progression in two runs and is from a yard in form. Looks like there could be a few future stars in this field but Cape To Rio sets the standard.
