We will side with Sky Quest here ahead of Namroc, Ionian Spring, Whitsbury Cross, Gavroche and Star Of Light. Sky Quest is now on the mark from which he scored last August and, with his stable in good form, might go well here at a good price. Over this longer trip, Namroc, who was fancied to go well last time, could feature, while we expect a good run from Ionian Spring, who scored in claiming company last time but who is well weighted on his best form of last year. Gavroche is just a pound below a winning mark and has been running well, while Star Of Light is worth another try at this trip having run well at a mile last time, but Temple Place and Lucayan Legend have yet to prove their effectiveness at it. Evaluator is running well but keeps finding one to beat him and Prince Nureyev looked more like his old self last time and is weighted to go very well if at his best. Compton Drake is actually back to a winning mark now, while the course and distance winner Sangiovese is fairly competitively weighted. Finally, the hat-trick seeking Whitsbury Cross has to be considered as he is in good heart, although it is interesting that he is very much worse off with Sky Quest based on last year's Sandown form for two necks. We will see how things work out this time but, that said, we still give the speculative vote to Sky Quest.
