In depth

Verdict

Several return to action with claims including Mithras, who won over a mile back in November. Beautiful Bertie scored at Chelmsford in the same month while Dingle made a winning handicap debut over a mile at Kempton. A couple of these ran at the same fixture here in October with Caribou scoring over 6f and SAINT LAWRENCE finishing third in the Horris Hill. The latter had won a Listed race over track and trip earlier and Roger Varian’s colt may prove good enough in an open handicap. Last month’s Lingfield winner Rafiki is preferred to Yazaman of those with more recent form.
