Verdict

Secret Asset ran his best race for a long time on turf when runner-up to Iver Bridge Lad at Nottingham nine days ago, though fourth Five Star Junior has a chance of reversing the form on today's revised terms. Noble Storm is a consistent sprinter, while Noverre To Go starts the season on a decent mark. It would be no surprise to see Moorhouse Lad go close on his reappearance under ideal conditions but STRIKING SPIRIT could be the one to be on today. He just lost out to Bryan Smart's eight-year-old at Musselburgh around this time last year but has a good draw against the stands rail today and would take all the beating if reproducing his run in the Wokingham last June off only a 3lb lower mark.
