In depth

Verdict

The veteran Judge 'n Jury is still capable of getting involved at this level especially with an apprentice's allowance helping his cause. Macdillon won at Sandown last month and is upped 4lb but Pixeleen failed to cope with a penalty last time having won at Bath earlier and Groundworker remains 6lb higher than when winning over 6f here in July. The lightly-raced Wild Tobacco should be sharper for last month's reappearance at Goodwood and the same comment applies to KINEMATIC. The latter ran well enough at Sandown on her comeback to suggest she can go close in this company having won a Class 2 nursery at Chester last year.
