In depth

Verdict

Emma Lavelle’s string is in good form and she doesn’t run many on the Flat so Let Rip is worth a second look. Zillion has only won at Chepstow so far, however, and at a lower level. POTENZA doesn’t look straightforward but was always going to win an apprentice’s race at Chester last week once hitting the front he escapes a penalty. Party Island has won three times on Polytrack this year but is 17lb higher than for his only previous victory on Turf and Wolverhampton scorer Spring Glow is another with a bit to prove on this surface.
