Verdict

A wide open handicap rounds off the card but the principals look to be Noble Baron, Glacial Evening, All In The Stars and we will side with Noble Baron. The gelding from the Clive Cox yard was a good winner at Exeter last time when defeating All In The Stars last time, and although that rival is slightly better off at the weights here we take Noble Baron to confirm his superiority over him. Glacial Evening rates the main danger he was fourth behind Noble Baron last time and is another that is better off at the weights. However he remains a maiden after nine runs and for that reason he is opposed. Briar is another that is worthy of respect he was a fair sixth behind Allied Victory last time and he is sure to strip fitter here. Of the remainder Dantes Venture was a good third behind Better Days last time in a novices chase and he has definite place claims but he looks to have plenty of weight but in a wide open affair where stakes should be kept to a minimum we will side with Noble Baron.
