      Verdict

Very little for us to go on here, with some very ordinary flat performers in Lady Arnica, Nerina Princess and St Palais trying their luck over timber. Of those with English experience, Harbour Bell was rated 64 on the flat and won a ten furlong event at Warwick on fast ground, but would not have to be anything special to see off most of these. But under the circumstances, preference here has to go to the Pipe-McCoy combination's Fast Mix. The French-bred runner is guaranteed to have been well schooled and fitness can also be taken on trust, and so he gets the TEAMtalk vote.
