A big field here but plenty of them can be dismissed and it should concern half a dozen. TEAMtalk's idea of the winner is Tagar, from the Nicky Henderson stable. The five-year-old was a ten furlong winner on heavy ground in his native France and also has invaluable experience over this course, when second to useful stablemate Isio in March. That form looks to be better than most here and he is taken to break his novice tag. Over Anxious is the suggestion for those trying the forecast. Jonjo O'Neill's gelding was a beaten odds-on favourite here in March and on that running has five lengths to find with Majestic Bay. Clearly not giving his running that day, he showed enough ability on debut to suggest that he should be involved in the finish here. Majestic Bay should certainly stay the 2m 3f trip, will love the ground and is another likely to be involved in the shake-up. Of the remainder, Rare Genius has not been seen since finishing second to Spectrometer at Stratford 16 months ago. He probably needs further, but has place claims if he can defy the lay-off. Stricylt Speaking is a rare runner over obstacles for trainer Paul Cole. He has shown his best on a sound surface, but has not looked anythnig special so far and more interesting is Saitensohn, who finished second in a chase a Krefeld recently. He has yet to race on a good surface, but with Tony McCoy booked he could be a major player.
