Verdict

Serena Botherton has ridden the winner of this twice in recent years so Mrs Neat has to come into the reckoning, but the vote goes to EASTERN PARAMOUR. She won last year's renewal and is only 1lb higher in the weights this time around. Overrule and New Code were both placed last time and have claims while, at the other end of the handicap, Covert Decree finished third at Bath recently and could figure on that form.
