The second division of this novice stakes is almost as interesting at the first. Louganini and Tuscan Gaze won the two divisions of the same novice event at Newmarket in November. Roger Charlton’s Zoffany gelding achieved his victory in a much quicker time so can come out top of the two penalised runners but JACKSONIAN is preferred. He was third to the smart Military March at Newmarket last July and should make a decent three-year-old. Galata Bridge and Arabian Warrior have nice middle-distance pedigrees and are unlikely to be long in breaking their duck.
