BREATH OF AIR’s only previous win came on this track. He’s been gelded since last season and been dropped a further 3lb so is now starting to look well treated. Blue Mist is a pound lower than when third in a valuable handicap over this trip at Ascot last July so also goes on the shortlist but Spirit Warning is best over a mile. Jackstar finished second at Newcastle 10 days ago but this is a much stronger contest and Quick Breath and Mohareb might also struggle. War Glory looks too high in the weights on his return but Bear Force One likes it here and will have benefited from his run at Newmarket, where he was well supported.
