      Verdict

Greenhill Bramble, Mr Pointment, Earth Man and Lutea are four against the field in a wide open affair and the tentative vote is given to Mr Pointment. The selection was very impressive on his only run to date when defeating Valley Ride and although he has a penalty for that win he has plenty of scope for improvement and under similar conditions here he will be hard to beat. Greenhill Bramble rates the main danger as he also won well on his debut behind Rutland but that form has since been let down so he is passed over on this occasion. Earth Man is another worthy of respect as he won well last time when defeating Netherley but he will find this difficult under a double penalty.Lueta is another that could go well but she does her self no favours by pulling so hard and again she may be collard close home. Of the remainder Be Be King is another scopey sort that should improve and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Mr Pointment.
