Verdict
This is easily Master Of The Sea's toughest task to date but he's come on in leaps and bounds since the autumn. Monetary Fund is usually thereabouts and got back to winning ways at Musselburgh last month while Rangitoto went close over 2m6f at Wincanton last time, though is another 5lb higher here. Araldur and Minella Class could make their presence felt but Captain Sunshine has disappointed this season and Water Garden lacks a recent run and may have targets later this spring. Barafundle was just caught at Doncaster last time but is another still climbing the weights and Sivola De Sivola appears to lack an extra gear while Arkose came unstuck behind Araldur at Sandown in December. Last year's winner KNOCK A HAND reverted to hurdles at Warwick last time and ran well for a long way when fifth behind Ely Brown. He may be a little sharper here and is fancied to stage a repeat.
