In depth

Verdict

Another race which should give plenty of clues for the months ahead. Silver Forever, a points and bumper winner, made a winning start over hurdles at Chepstow when always travelling best. She looks a nice prospect but will not have encountered going this quick so far. FLORESSA looked a natural over hurdles at Worcester and went clear without coming off the bridle. She may just have more speed than her rivals on the surface. Heaven Help Us was a surprise winner at Cheltenham but there appeared to be no fluke about the result and she’s preferred to Ffos Las scorer Vienna Court, though her form has been franked. Of the maidens, careful note should be made of Aggy With It and Designer Destiny while Farne had some decent bumper form last season, despite not winning.
