We will shortlist Wee Dinns, Itqaan and Fearless Spirit in this fillies' handicap and side with the last-named. The John Gosden-trained selection bolted up in her maiden but then got found out in Listed company last time. Returning to a handicap on a mark of 75, she ought to be competitive today. Wee Dinns is respected as she seems to go well at this time of year and is now a pound below the rating from which she won over course and distance last season. Last time out, she finished a fair second to Villaricca, which was much more like it. Itqaan is a lightly-raced potential improver, and although she did not build on her maiden win in handicap company at Pontefract last time, the step up in trip today should help. Of the others, Kryssa, remains on a competitive mark, Season Estates and Noora step up in trip, although the latter can be a bit mulish, Real Cool Cat has been running well, Je Suis Belle takes an interesting step up in trip, and Hidden Chance and Summerise hold place claims. However, for the winner, particularly if the market vibe is good, we will side with Fearless Spirit.
