Verdict

Marcano has scored rather cosily the last twice at Bath and should remain competitive, despite now rated 12lb higher. He should be on the premises but LOADED looks on an acceptable mark for his handicap bow after going down narrowly in a Chester maiden in late May behind Heir To A Throne. He seems sure to appreciate this more conventional track and should give a good account on just his fourth start, especially if David Probert can get him to settle slightly better. Marbooh ought to have plenty more to come too and, on the upgrade, could well prove the biggest danger to the selection, although Dubai's Secret is also worth noting on his best form.
