Verdict

Glutnforpunishment could only manage third at Chester bidding for a four-timer but that was over a longer trip in better company and he’s not out of this. He’s already beaten both Vindolanda and Monsieur Lambrays thought both re-oppose on better terms today. Cherry Cola’s winning run came to an end in this grade at Lingfield while Hermocrates’ improved recent form has been over 1m6f. TAVUS caught the eye staying on strongly for third over 1m2f at Windsor on his handicap debut. This extra test of stamina should suit on that evidence and Roger Charlton’s charge gets the vote.
