Major Valentine is on a terrific run, winning for the fourth time in five starts last month. Swanton Blue also arrives in good form but all of his best efforts have come over an extra furlong, including here last week. Madame Bounty returned from a lengthy absence to open her account at Windsor and has the speed to cope with the drop back to 5f while a case can also be made for Prominna and Hurricane Alert but Lightoller and Our Lord were both beaten in a lower grade last time. Finley Marsh is good value for his 3lb claim in a race like this and partners JASHMA, who may have been a beaten favourite three times in a row but has plenty in his favour again here.
