In depth

Verdict

Dark Charm has shown plenty of ability in both previous starts and put up a particularly fine effort when chasing home Golden Spectrum over this trip at Salisbury last month. A reproduction will make him hard to beat although a shade disappointing last time. War Valor, who sports a visor for the first time, has also been knocking on the door in similar com-pany and his second behind Ghannam at Thirsk now reads well while Star Of Arabia was below par at Goodwood but has little to find with Dark Charm on Salisbury form and can't be discounted.
