Verdict

A tricky contest but CELESTIAL FORCE may be worth sticking with until beaten. The latter made a winning start at Newcastle before defying a penalty over today’s trip at Thirsk and there should be more to come from him now handicapping. Sleeping Lion has a shout on his novice success over 1m3f at Kempton while King Lud finished well ahead of Cacophonous when runner-up in a maiden race at Salisbury and is not out of this either. Soto Sizzler showed a big improvement at Goodwood last time and could also get involved.
