      Verdict

      Successful in both starts over 1m2f in novice company, LOGICIAN (NAP) can remain unbeaten. This longer trip should suit as he goes handicapping for the first time and the Frankel colt is Frankie Dettori’s only ride on the card. Natty Night beat Agent Basterfield easily enough on the Turf at Lingfield recently though it was soft going on that occasion while there was cut in the ground when Just Hubert won at Pontefract last year. Massam showed good progress last term but has struggled so far this season.
